David Teufel

David has been involved with blockchain technologies since 2016 and, as a Web3 native, has closely followed the space since its inception. He brings experience as a startup CFO, Venture Capital Investment Director, and Web3 fund manager. At Tigris Web3, he leads portfolio management and oversees regulatory responsibilities.

Peter Augustin

With decades of experience shaping Web1 and Web2 as an entrepreneur and investor, Peter is conviced Web3 is the next major evolution of the internet. Since 2017, he has been fully immersed in Web3 technologies. His long-standing passion for digital innovation, combined with his technical expertise in network infrastructure, makes him a key player in this space.

History

In 2021, Peter founded Austria’s first registered Web3 fund. Shortly after, he met David, and they began working together on the fund’s operations. After this successful and close collaboration, the two decided in 2024 to take the fund project to the next level by jointly re-launching Tigris Web3 with a standalone registered AIF manager.
